41 Practitioners receiving bribes etc
A person commits an offence if:
(a)
the person is a practitioner; and
(b)
the person dishonestly:
(i)
asks for a benefit for himself or herself, or for another person; or
(ii)
receives or obtains a benefit for himself or herself, or for another person; or
(iii)
agrees to receive or obtain a benefit for himself or herself, or for another person; and
(c)
the person does so intending:
(i)
that treatment provided by him or her under this Act will be influenced; or
(ii)
to induce, foster or sustain a belief that such treatment will be influenced.
Penalty: 120 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years.
