32 Certain action in relation to requests and warrants

(1)

Where the Director‑General makes a request, otherwise than in writing, for the issue of a warrant under this Division, the Director‑General shall forthwith forward to the Attorney‑General a request in writing for the issue of a warrant.

(2)

Where the Attorney‑General issues or revokes a warrant under this Division, the Attorney‑General shall:

(a)

cause the Director‑General to be informed forthwith of the issue of the warrant or of the revocation, as the case may be; and

(b)

cause the warrant or the instrument of revocation, as the case may be, to be forwarded as soon as practicable to the Director‑General.

(3)

The Attorney‑General shall record on each request in writing for the issue of a warrant under this Division received by the Attorney‑General from the Director‑General the Attorney‑General’s decision with respect to the request and shall cause the request to be returned to the Director‑General.

(4)

The Director‑General shall cause to be retained in the records of the Organisation all warrants issued by the Director‑General under this Division and all warrants and instruments of revocation received by the Director‑General from, and all requests and other documents returned to the Director‑General by, the Attorney‑General under this Division.
