125 Inspecting goods and taking samples
A biosecurity officer may inspect the goods.
A biosecurity officer may:
take samples of the goods; or
direct a person in charge of the goods to deliver to the biosecurity officer samples of such of those goods as are specified in the direction; or
arrange for another person, with appropriate qualifications or expertise, to take samples of the goods.
A biosecurity officer may:
carry out tests on any samples taken or delivered under subsection (2); or
arrange for another person, with appropriate qualifications or expertise, to carry out tests on any of those samples.

Civil penalty provision
A person who is given a direction under paragraph (2)(b) must comply with the direction.
Civil penalty: 300 penalty units.
