45 Disclosure to Ministers etc
An official of the Regulator may disclose protected information to the Minister.
An official of the Regulator may disclose protected information to a Minister if the Minister is responsible for administering a program, or collecting statistics, relating to:
greenhouse gas emissions (within the meaning of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007); or
energy consumption (within the meaning of that Act); or
energy production (within the meaning of that Act).
If protected information:
was obtained under a biodiversity law; or
is covered by section 222 of the Nature Repair Act 2023;
an official of the Regulator may disclose that information to the Biodiversity Minister.
An official of the Regulator may disclose protected information to a person employed by a Minister referred to in subsection (1), (2) or (2A) under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984.
