47A Disclosure or use for purposes of development of methodology determinations under the Nature Repair Act 2023
The Regulator may disclose or use protected information that relates to a particular biodiversity project if:
under section 15 of the Nature Repair Act 2023, the Regulator has approved the registration of the biodiversity project; and
more than 7 years have passed since the application under section 11 of that Act was made for the approval; and
the information was:
contained in the application; or
given in connection with the application; or
contained in a biodiversity project report; and
the disclosure or use is for the purposes of facilitating the development of one or more methodology determinations under that Act.
Subsection (1) does not apply to personal information (within the meaning of the Privacy Act 1988).
