8 Code of practice for Northern Territory
The approved code of practice for the Northern Territory, as amended and set out in Appendix 2 to the Sustainable Forestry Practices – Guidelines for the Northern Territory (2021) (NT) as in effect on 17 February 2025, is approved under subsection 2-9(2) of the Rules.

Note 2: The code of practice for the Northern was approved on 2 May 2013: see Notice of Approval of Plantation Forestry Codes of Practice in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory made under regulation 4B of the Export Control (Unprocessed Wood) Regulations (Commonwealth Gazette Notice C2013G00832). The approval continues in force as if it had been given under subsection 2-7(1) of the Rules (see section 12-1 of the Rules).
