2 Commencement
Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3. Schedule 2 | The day the ILO Convention (No. 190) concerning Violence and Harassment, done at Geneva on 21 June 2019, comes into force for Australia. However, the provisions do not commence at all if the Convention does not come into force for Australia on or before 1 February 2025. The Minister must announce, by notifiable instrument, the day the Convention comes into force for Australia, if that day is on or before 1 February 2025. | 9 June 2024 (F2023N00575) |
This table relates only to the provisions of this Act as originally enacted. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this Act.
