34.135 Court may order adjournment for purpose of agreement between parties

A party may at any time apply to the Court for an order that:

(a)

the proceeding be adjourned to allow the parties time to negotiate:

(i)

about the proceeding; or

(ii)

about matters other than native title; or

(b)

an adjournment be ended, if:

(i)

the NNTT has reported that negotiations are unlikely to succeed; or

(ii)

it is appropriate to do so.
