30 Preparing a draft variation
After assessing an application, the Authority must:
prepare in writing a draft food regulatory measure or a draft variation of a food regulatory measure; or
reject the application.
If:
the Authority prepares a draft food regulatory measure or a draft variation of a food regulatory measure as a result of an application; and
the draft measure or draft variation differs from that sought in the application, or was not sought in the application at all;
the Authority must give the applicant notice in writing of that fact and state in the notice that the Authority will call for submissions for the purpose of assessing the draft measure or draft variation.
The Authority must not give public notice under section 31 within 10 business days immediately after notice is given to the applicant under subsection (2) of this section.
