31 Calling for submissions
After preparing a draft food regulatory measure or a draft variation of a food regulatory measure as a result of an application, the Authority must give public notice of the matters mentioned in subsection (2).
The notice must:
state that the Authority has prepared a draft food regulatory measure or a draft variation of a food regulatory measure, as the case requires; and
include:
a copy of the draft food regulatory measure or draft variation; and
a summary of the results of the Authority’s assessment of the application;
or state how a copy of those documents can be obtained; and
call for written submissions, for the purpose of the Authority’s consideration of the draft measure or draft variation, to be given to the Authority within the period specified in the notice (the submission period).
