79 Abolition of Australian Industrial Court
(1)
Despite the repeal of the Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1904, the Australian Industrial Court is taken to continue in existence until 31 August 1998 as if that Act had not been repealed.
(2)
At the end of that day, the Australian Industrial Court ceases to exist.
Note:
The last remaining judge of the Australian Industrial Court resigned on 31 August 1998.
