22 Appointment of Board members
(1)
The Board members are to be appointed by the Minister by written instrument.
Note:
The Chair is a Board member (see the definition of Board member in section 5).
(2)
The Board members are to be appointed on a part‑time basis.
(3)
A Board member holds office for the period specified in the instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 5 years.
Note:
Board members may be reappointed (see section 33AA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901).
