20 Cancellation of licence

(1)

The CEO may cancel a licence (including a suspended licence) if satisfied that the licensee:

(a)

is no longer a fit and proper person to hold a licence; or

(b)

has contravened a condition of the licence.

Note:

The mandatory fit and proper person considerations are set out in section 13B.

(4)

The CEO shall cancel a licence by giving to the licensee a written notice stating that the licence has been cancelled and setting out the reasons for the cancellation.

(5)

The cancellation of a licence takes effect 60 days after the notice is given to the licensee under subsection (4).
