65Y Notification of reviewable decisions etc

(1)

As soon as practicable after a reviewable decision is made, the reviewer must give the applicant or licensee concerned a written notice of the decision containing:

(a)

the reasons for the decision; and

(b)

details of the applicant’s or licensee’s right to have the decision reconsidered under section 65ZA or to apply for review of the decision under section 65ZC (as the case requires).

(2)

A notice is taken to have been given under subsection (1) if the reasons, and details mentioned in paragraph (1)(b), are contained in a written notice of the reviewable decision under another provision of this Act.

(3)

Failure to give a notice under subsection (1) (including as mentioned in subsection (2)) in relation to a reviewable decision does not affect the validity of the reviewable decision.
