65Z Reconsideration of reviewable decisions—application for reconsideration

(1)

An applicant or licensee may apply to the reviewer to reconsider a reviewable decision (the original decision) made in relation to the applicant or licensee, other than:

(a)

a reviewable decision made by the reviewer personally; or

(b)

a reconsideration decision.

(2)

The application must:

(a)

be in writing; and

(b)

be made within:

(i)

21 days after the day on which the original decision is made (or taken to have been made); or

(ii)

if, either before or after the end of that 21‑day period, the reviewer extends the period within which the application may be made—the extended period; and

(c)

set out the reasons why the applicant or licensee wants the original decision reconsidered.
