46C Terms of overseas payload permit
An overseas payload permit authorising the launch of a space object or objects:
must specify the day on which it comes into force and the period for which it remains in force; and
is granted subject to any conditions specified in the permit.
An overseas payload permit may specify that the period for which it remains in force ends on the occurrence of a particular event (rather than at a specified time). For this purpose, the rules may set out how to determine when events of a particular kind occur.
An overseas payload permit might specify that its period expires when the relevant launch has been (successfully or unsuccessfully) completed. The rules could set out how to determine when this is.
At any time when an overseas payload permit is in force, the Minister may, by written notice given to the holder of the permit, extend or further extend the period for which the permit remains in force.
