28 Special provisions relating to environmental matters
Chapters 2 and 4 and Divisions 1 to 4 (inclusive) of Part 13 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 do not apply to:
the performance of a function, or the exercise of a power, conferred on the ACMA by this Division; or
an action (as defined in that Act) authorised by a facility installation permit.
Before issuing a facility installation permit, the ACMA must consult the Environment Secretary.
In this clause:
this Division includes:
Part 25, to the extent that that Part relates to the holding of a public inquiry in relation to a permit; and
Part 29, to the extent that that Part relates to this Division.
