2 Preservation of existing gaming machine approvals and authorisations
In this clause—
existing gaming machine approval or authorisation means any approval or authorisation in respect of a poker machine or approved amusement device—
granted under a provision of the Liquor Act 1982 or the Registered Clubs Act 1976 repealed by this Act, and
in force immediately before the repeal of the provision.
An existing gaming machine approval or authorisation is, subject to this Act and the regulations, taken to be an approval or authorisation in force under this Act.
The conditions to which an existing gaming machine approval or authorisation is subject are, subject to the regulations, taken to be conditions imposed by or under this Act and may be revoked or varied in accordance with this Act.
