9 Updating of certain references
Subject to the regulations, in any Act (other than this Act) or in any instrument made under an Act or in any other document—
a reference to—
an approved amusement device within the meaning of the Liquor Act 1982, or
a poker machine, or an approved or authorised poker machine, within the meaning of the Registered Clubs Act 1976,
is taken to be a reference to an approved gaming machine within the meaning of this Act, and
a reference to a poker machine area within the meaning of the Registered Clubs Act 1976 is taken to be a reference to a gaming machine area within the meaning of this Act.
