111 Persons to whom Part applies
(1)
This Part applies to a person, including a person under the age of 18 years, who is under arrest by a police officer for an offence or who is a protected suspect in connection with an offence. It is immaterial whether the offence concerned was committed before or after the commencement of this Part or within or outside the State.
(2)
This Part does not apply to a person who is detained under Part 16.
