Waiver or refund of meat industry levies

Current

(1)

The Minister may, at the Minister’s discretion, direct the Food Authority—

(a)

to waive payment of any meat industry levy or part of any meat industry levy, or

(b)

to refund to an occupier or owner any meat industry levy or part of any meat industry levy,

or both.

(2)

The Minister may authorise the Food Authority to write off any amount owing to it whether for meat industry levies or otherwise if the Minister is satisfied that the amount is not recoverable.
