381B Incomplete applications
(1)
A decision-maker may reject an application under this Act on either or both of the following grounds—
(a)
the applicant has not paid a fee or levy payable in connection with the application within the period, if any, prescribed by the regulations,
(b)
the applicant has not lodged information required by the regulations to accompany the application within the period, if any, prescribed by the regulations or a longer period specified by the decision-maker.
(2)
To avoid doubt—
(a)
an application rejected under this section is taken never to have been made, and
(b)
the decision-maker is not required to notify the applicant before the rejection.
