The Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, designate a corporation established by an Act as a Government agency for the purposes of the definition of Government agency in the Dictionary of words and expressions at the end of this Act.

For the purposes of this section, a State owned corporation (and any of its subsidiaries) within the meaning of the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 is taken to be a corporation established by an Act.
