4 Health practitioners to adopt standard precautions for infection control
(1)
A health practitioner must adopt standard precautions for the control of infection in the practitioner’s practice.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1), a health practitioner who carries out a skin penetration procedure must comply with the relevant provisions of this Regulation in relation to the carrying out of the procedure.
