13 Insurers’ Contribution Fund continued
On the commencement of Division 6 of Part 7 of this Act, the Insurers’ Contribution Fund established under section 30H of the former Act shall become the Insurers’ Contribution Fund established under section 218 of this Act.
Nothing in this Act or the cognate Acts affects any contribution required to be made to that Fund under Part 3A of the former Act and that Part continues to apply in respect of any such contribution.
The first contribution required to be paid into that Fund after the commencement of Division 6 of Part 7 shall be the contribution in respect of the financial year commencing on 1 July 1987.
An injury received by a worker after the commencement of that Division, but for which an employer is indemnified under a policy issued before 30 June 1987, shall be deemed to have been received before that commencement for the purposes of section 221 (4).
