2 Saving of existing notices and claims
(1)
A notice of injury, incapacity, damage to property or otherwise duly given under a provision of the former Act shall, after the commencement of Division 1 of Part 4 of this Act, be deemed to have been duly given under the corresponding provision of this Act.
(2)
A claim for compensation duly made under the former Act shall, after that commencement, be deemed to have been duly made under this Act.
