Workers Compensation Act 1987

An authorisation of a person that is in force for the purposes of section 238 of the 1998 Act immediately before the amendment of that section by the 2012 amending Act is deemed to be an authorisation of the person as an inspector for the purposes of that section.

A search warrant issued under section 238A of the 1998 Act to a person as an authorised officer and in force immediately before the amendment of that section by the 2012 amending Act is deemed to have been issued to the person as an inspector.

Any act, matter or thing done or omitted to be done by a person as an authorised officer for the purposes of section 238AA of the 1998 Act is, to the extent that it relates to matters arising after the amendment of that section by the 2012 amending Act, deemed to have been done or omitted by the person as an inspector under that section.
