97 Effect of registration
(1)
The registered external order is taken to be a court DVO that has been properly given to the respondent on the date it is registered.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not apply to a variation or revocation of a registered external order if the order is a recognised DVO under
Chapter 3A and the variation or revocation is recognised in the
Territory under that Chapter.
