29 Term of appointment
(1)
A member holds office for the period, not exceeding 3 years, specified in the instrument of appointment and is eligible for reappointment.
(2)
If a period of appointment is not specified, the member holds office for 3 years.
(3)
The appointments of members are to be arranged so that, as far as practicable, the terms of office of 6 members appointed under section 28(1) expire together, with the terms of office of the other
5 members expiring 18 months later.
