59 Applicant must submit application to vetting entity
An applicant must submit the application for enrolment as a mature age student to the vetting entity accompanied by a report (a
criminal record report) containing details of the applicant's criminal record obtained by the applicant from the
Commissioner of Police.
If there is a charge for an offence of any kind pending in relation to the applicant, the applicant must describe in the application the nature of the offence to which the charge relates.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
The applicant must meet any cost incurred in obtaining the criminal record report.
The vetting entity must ensure that information obtained by it under this section is destroyed as soon as practicable after the information is no longer needed for the purpose for which the information was obtained.
