12.01 Joinder of claims
(1)
Subject to rule 12.04, a plaintiff may join any number of claims against a defendant whether:
(a)
the plaintiff makes the claims in the same or different capacities; or
(b)
the claims are made against the defendant in the same or different capacities.
(2)
The Court may order that claims joined in one statement of claim are to be heard separately if the Court considers separate hearings to be appropriate and convenient.
(3)
Where claims are joined in one statement of claim, the total amount claimed is not to exceed the jurisdiction of the Court.
