3.05 Content and form
(1) A document (including a form) to be used in the Court is to be prepared in accordance with subrules (2), (3) and (4) but strict compliance with those subrules is not required and substantial compliance, or the compliance that the circumstances require, is sufficient.
A document is to:
(a) be of durable paper 297 millimetres by 210 millimetres in the size known as International Paper Size A4 and be capable of receiving writing in ink; and
have a left-hand margin of at least 25 millimetres; and
(c) be printed or typed and the text is to be clear, sharp, legible and permanent; and
(d) be headed "In the Local Court at" followed immediately by the Court venue in which the proceedings have been or are to be commenced and state the identifying number assigned by the Court to the proceedings; and
(e) state the title of the proceedings and give a short description of the document; and
(f) state the name, address and telephone, facsimile and reference numbers of the law practice that prepared the form or, where the party acts without a law practice, the name, address and telephone and facsimile numbers of the party.
A document is not to have a backing sheet.
(4) Dates (other than months), amounts and other numbers are to be expressed in figures and not in words.
(5) The Court may require a document in proceedings to be prepared in a manner it considers appropriate.
