7.04 Claim not to be divided
(1)
A plaintiff must not divide a claim or cause of action to make 2 or more statements of claim.
(2)
A plaintiff who has a claim that exceeds the jurisdiction of the
Court:
(a)
may abandon the excess by including a statement to that effect in the particulars of the claim; and
(b)
on proof of the claim the plaintiff is entitled to judgment for the claim less the amount abandoned.
