38 Builders plates fixed to vessels during transitional period
(1) A builders plate that was fixed to a vessel during the transitional period is to be taken to have complied with the requirements of the ABP Standard referred to in regulations 18D(1) and 18F(1) and (4) if the builders plate was fixed to the vessel in accordance with, and otherwise complied with the requirements of, either:
the former ABP Standard; or
the new ABP Standard.
(2) A builders plate that was approved by a person mentioned in regulation 18E during the transitional period is to be taken to have complied with the requirements of the ABP Standard referred to in regulation 18G(1) if the builders plate complied with the requirements of either:
the former ABP Standard; or
the new ABP Standard.
In this regulation:
transitional period means the period between 5 June 2021 and the commencement.
