19 Academic Standing Committee
The Board shall establish an Academic Standing Committee consisting of the Director, one other Board member and such other persons as the Vice-Chancellor of Charles Darwin University recommends should be appointed to the Committee.
The Academic Standing Committee shall advise the Board on all academic appointments and promotions and on such matters relating to the academic activities of the School as the Committee thinks fit or on which the Board requests advice.
The Academic Standing Committee shall advise the Board on arrangements for an external review of the academic and scientific activities of the School which review shall be conducted at intervals not exceeding 5 years.
