65 Money to be held for owner
Where the Public Trustee acts under this Part and takes possession of property or receives or recovers any money, damages or mesne profits in respect of any property under this Part, the property, money, damages or mesne profits shall, after payment of all moneys authorized to be applied or expended or charged by the Public
Trustee, be held by the Public Trustee for the owner of the property.
The Public Trustee may pay any money received under subsection (1) to the Central Holding Authority and if any person establishes to the satisfaction of the Treasurer that he or she has a claim to that money the Treasurer shall meet the claim out of money legally available for that purpose.
