21 Term of office
(1)
The term of office of a member of the Commission is the period, not exceeding 3 years, specified by the Minister in the appointment.
(2)
Subject to subsection (3), a member is eligible for reappointment.
(3)
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, a person cannot be reappointed as a member of the Commission if the reappointment would result in the person holding office as a member of the Commission for more than 6 years in total, whether or not through consecutive terms of office.
