24 Overlap between national measure and other objective or law
Where:
(a)
a draft environment protection objective submitted under section
22 is approved under section 23; and
(b)
a law in force in the Territory, including another objective approved under section 23, establishes more stringent requirements than that required by the environment protection objective,
the law in force in the Territory is to apply and the objective referred to in paragraph (a) is, to the extent of the inconsistency, of no effect.
