239 Refusal of witness to be sworn or to answer questions
A person appearing as a witness at a hearing of the Land Tribunal must not, without reasonable excuse—
fail to be sworn or to make an affirmation; or
fail to answer a question that the person is required to answer by the presiding member; or
fail to produce a document that the person was required to produce by a summons under this Act served on the person as prescribed.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
It is a reasonable excuse for a person to fail to answer a question if answering the question may tend to incriminate the person.
It is a reasonable excuse for a person to fail to produce a document if producing the document may tend to incriminate the person.
