494 Personal information on register under this Act
This section applies if an administrator is satisfied someone’s personal safety would be put at risk if particular information (for example, the person’s address or other contact details) were included in a register that the administrator is required to keep under this Act.
The administrator must ensure the information is not included in—
a part of the register that is available to the public; or
a copy of information from the register, whether or not the information is from a part of the register that is available to the public.
If a provision of this Act requires or permits the information to be published on a website, the administrator must, despite the provision, ensure the information is not published on the website.
In this section—administrator means—
the chief executive; or
a chief executive officer of a local government; or
the chairperson of an invasive animal board.
