431 False accounting by public officer
Any person who, being an officer charged with the receipt, custody, or management of any part of the public revenue or property, knowingly furnishes any false statement or return of any money or property received by the person or entrusted to the person’s care, or of any balance of money or property in the person’s possession or under the person’s control, is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment for 2 years. sch 1 pt 6 div 1 ch 40 s 431 prev s 431 amd 1988 No. 88 s 5 sch 2
