599 Defence of justification for defamation to be specially pleaded
A person charged with the offence defined in section 365, who sets up as a defence the modified statutory defence of justification within the meaning of that section, must plead that defence specially, and may plead it with any other plea, except the plea of guilty. sch 1 pt 8 ch 62 ch div 9 s 599 sub 2005 No. 55 s 48 sch 4
