59 Preparation of electoral rolls
(1)
The commission must prepare all electoral rolls as soon as practicable after—
(a)
an electoral redistribution becomes final; or
(b)
6p.m. on the cut-off day for electoral rolls for an election or referendum; or
(c)
3 years pass after the day on which the writ for the last general election was returned.
(2)
The commission may also prepare all or any of the electoral rolls at any other time that it considers appropriate.
(3)
The electoral rolls may be prepared—
(a)
in a printed or electronic form; or
(b)
on microfiche, computer disk or computer tape; or
(c)
in another form determined by the commission.
