62 Joint roll arrangement with Commonwealth
The Governor may arrange with the Governor-General for—
the preparation, alteration or revision of the electoral rolls; or
the carrying out of any procedure relating to the preparation, alteration or revision of the electoral rolls;
in any way consistent with this Act, jointly by the State and the Commonwealth, whether for the purpose of the rolls being used as electoral rolls for Legislative Assembly elections as well as for Commonwealth elections or for any other purpose.
If an arrangement is made, the electoral rolls may contain—
names and other information in relation to persons who are not entitled to be enrolled as electors for Legislative Assembly elections, provided that it is indicated as prescribed that the persons are not enrolled as electors for the Legislative Assembly; and
distinguishing marks against the names of the persons to show that they are not also enrolled as electors for Commonwealth elections; and
other information in addition to that required under this division.
For the purposes of this Act, the marks and other information do not form part of the electoral rolls.
