Obligation to do thing indefinitely or within or for stated period
292 Obligation to do thing indefinitely or within or for stated period
This section applies if—
before the commencement, a person was, under a previous provision, required to do something—
within, or for, a stated period; or
for an indefinite period; and
if paragraph (a)(i) applies—immediately before the commencement—
the stated period was not completed; and
if the person was required to do the thing within the stated period—the thing had not yet been done; and
the context permits.
If there is a corresponding provision to the previous provision, the corresponding provision applies to the doing of the thing as if the corresponding provision had been in force when the period started.
If the previous provision required the person to keep a document for a stated period and there is no corresponding provision to the previous provision, the previous provision continues to apply despite the repeal of the repealed regulation.
