168 Fireworks contractor’s obligations about safety and security of fireworks display
The fireworks contractor for a fireworks display must, before the fireworks display is staged, give the display host for the fireworks display a notice that states that—
the fireworks contractor must ensure the fireworks display meets the safety and security requirements for the display; and
the display host commits an offence if the display host—
allows the fireworks display to be staged; and
knows, or ought reasonably to know, the fireworks display does not comply with the safety and security requirements for the display.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
