Notice of fireworks display to be given to emergency services etc.

In force

The fireworks contractor for a fireworks display must, before the fireworks display is staged, give notice of the fireworks display to—

(a)

Queensland Fire and Rescue or Rural Fire Service Queensland under the Fire Services Act 1990; and

(b)

any other person to whom notice of the fireworks display must be given under the Queensland fireworks code.Examples of other persons—

the harbour master, air traffic control, the police

Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
