35 General powers after entering places
This section applies to an inspector who enters a place.
For monitoring or enforcing compliance with this Act, the inspector may—
search any part of the place; or
inspect or photograph any part of the place or anything at the place; or
copy a document at the place; or
take into or onto the place any persons or equipment the inspector reasonably requires for exercising a power under this subdivision; or
require the occupier of the place, or a person at the place, to give the inspector reasonable help to exercise the powers under paragraphs (a) to (d).
A person must comply with a requirement under subsection (2)(e), unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—80 penalty units.
A requirement under subsection (2)(e) does not include a requirement to produce a document or give information.
