275 Internal review procedure
(1)
An internal review application for an original decision, other than an original decision made by the reviewer personally, must not be dealt with by—
(a)
the person who made the decision; or
(b)
a person in a less senior office than the person who made the decision.
(2)
Subsection (1) applies despite the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 27A(7).
(3)
The reviewer may, in making the internal review decision, seek and take into account advice or information from any other person, including, for example, a review panel established by the reviewer.
