17 Near threatened wildlife
(1)
For section 79 of the Act, a plant mentioned in schedule 1, part 2, division 6, subdivision 1 is prescribed as near threatened wildlife.
(2)
The declared management intent applicable to a plant mentioned in subsection (1) is to manage the plant having regard to the matters mentioned in schedule 1, part 2, division 6, subdivision 2.
Note—
See schedule 1, section 23(h) for circumstances in which a plant that is near threatened wildlife is to be managed as if it were another class of wildlife.
